John 1:35-42). It was probably the first time that James and John saw the Lord. In any case, when the Lord called them, they left everything to follow Him. Peter was already married at that time. They must have seen the devine glory lived out through Jesus&#8217; excellent human virtue, so Peter wrote in 2 Peter 1:3 \u201cHe has called us by His own glory and virtue\u201d.<br\/>\r\n<strong>Meditate\uff1a<\/strong>Have we seen the Lord\u2019s glory and virtue? <br\/>\r\n<strong>Prayer\uff1a<\/strong>Thank the Lord that in the four gospel books we can see Your divine glory expressed through Your human virtue.
