Acting according to God’s will

(7/17) |

Verses:Mark 1:40 ~ 2:28
Key Verse:9-11. Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Rise and take up your mat and walk? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth He said to the paralytic, To you I say, Rise, take up your mat and go to your house.
Topic:Acting according to God’s will
Emphasis:Here Jesus has the authority to forgive sins. He is the friend of sinners, the doctor, and the groom. He is greater than David and he is the Lord of the Sabbath. He wants his disciples to know who he is.
Meditate:When Jesus preached the gospel of God, people always thought He was a prophet, so He took any possible opportunities to reveal who He really is.
Prayer:Lord, open my eyes, and remove all the coverings, so I can have a complete and correct understanding of you.
Hymn: Dearest of all is He,
The One I love the best;
‘Tis Him we all must seek,
And rely on Him at last.

Supplying all my need,
In weakness He sustains;
Fairest of fair to me
Ever faithful He remains.

He, our joy endlessly,
The same through every test;
Dearest of all is He;
He’s the One I love the best.

Fairest of all the fair;
He pleases me in full.
Noble of nobles, He
My prize unmatchable.

Life of all lives is He;
From death He makes me rise.
Holy of holies, from
The world He sanctifies.
