Being Crucified

(8/4) |

Verses:Mark 15:1 ~ 15:41
Key Verse:33-34. And when the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is interpreted, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
Topic:Being Crucified
Emphasis:The second half of His crucifixion, from noon (sixth hour) to three o’clock afternoon (ninth hour), God put all the sins of the human race on Jesus. Therefore, the righteous God must leave Him. This was why He cried: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Meditate:When Jesus as the son of man was judged by God the Father, How furious is God’s righteous judging fire!
Prayer:Thank You Lord. You paid the ransom for me on the cross, so I can be reconciled to God.
Hymn:1059 Jesus, keep me near the cross
