Glorified through death

(11/8) |

Verses:John 12:12 ~ 12:36
Key Verse:23-24. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Topic:Glorified through death
Emphasis:Jesus entered Jerusalem, sitting on a donkey’s colt. The people all came out to meet him, there were a lot people who asked His disciples if they could see Him. That was really glorious, but He said “Truly, Truly, I say to You” that He would be like a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, and bears much fruit. Which is the real glory He is got to have.
Meditate:In the verse 26, “where I am, there also My servant will be”, implies how we should follow Him. Think about how to follow Him “through death, bearing fruit, being glorified”
Prayer:Praise You Lord, for You died on the cross for me, so that I can have Your life, and also become a grain of life. Teach me how to follow You, and be with You, walk on Your path.
Hymn:222 Dear Lord, we thank Thee for this bread,
