Key Verse：24. Behold then the kindness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but on you, the kindness of God, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

Emphasis：Like Elijah, we often get discouraged by our external situation, or sometimes we think too highly of ourselves. We do not see that everything is set by God, through His selection of grace.
Meditate：Do we know both aspects of God? He is merciful, but also he is severe.
Prayer：Dear Lord, although many things are beyond my knowledge and understanding, but one thing I do need your help with, that is to keep me enjoying your mercy and grace.
