Key Verse：7-8. And will not God by all means carry out the avenging of His chosen ones, who cry to Him day and night, though He is long-suffering over them? I tell you that He will carry out their avenging quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?

Emphasis：The Lord’s long-suffering in verse 7 has to do with “faith on the earth” in verse 8. The Lord is delaying His return because we have no faith, but He expects to find faith within us. 1 Peter 1:7 says “So that the proving of Your faith, much more precious than of gold which perishes though it is proved by fire…” ”Precious” here refers to “the proving”. The emphasis is on the process of proving, not “faith”.
Meditate：The focus of our prayer should be on the fellowship with God, so that we may know Him and rely on Him. How shall we apply these 3 aspects to our prayer?
Prayer：Lord, I desire to become a person of prayer. Help me through these verses that I would be a person who like to pray and know how to pray.
