The Lord’s appearing to Saul

(5/3) |

Verses:Acts 9:1 ~ 9:19
Key Verse:3-5. And as he went, he drew near to Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. And he fell on the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? And he said, Who are You, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
Topic:The Lord’s appearing to Saul
Emphasis:Saul was the one persecuting the believers on the earth, but the voice from the heavenly light said, “Why are You persecuting Me?” This is “the heavenly vision” spoken of later in Acts (26:19): Christ Jesus being the Head and the church being His Body.
Meditate:Have you seen that we all are members in the Body of Christ? The heavenly Christ, the Head of the church, is one with us.
Prayer:Praise the Lord for gaining Saul who persecuted believers, making him the Apostle Paul, greatly useful to You. Cause me to see the vision of Christ and the church.
Hymn:437 Hast thou heard Him, seen Him, known Him
