The gospel reaches Greece

Verses:Acts 17:1 ~ 17:34
Key Verse:26-27. And He made from one every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, determining beforehand their appointed seasons and the boundaries of their dwelling, That they might seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, even though He is not far from each one of us;
Topic:The gospel reaches Greece
Emphasis:Areopagus is the place that the Athenian Court judged criminals. Paul announced the gospel to Greeks who were full of philosophy and mythology. These nine verses, which point out from “an unknown God” to the resurrection Christ, persuade them to abandon their idols, repent and seek the righteous creator.
Meditate:“He is not far from each one of us” shows that gospel is meant to lead people to God instead of to debates on philosophy.
Prayer:Help me equipped with the truth of the gospel, so that I may be able to preach the gospel in all circumstances.
Hymn:Seek ye first
