Emphasis：The center of the scene what John saw, when he was brought up into heaven in spirit, is that God executes His administration in the universe from the throne. Especially, the four living creatures mentioned (representing all the created creatures) in verse 6 note 2, “give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits upon the throne “(verse 9).
Meditate：“Come up here” written in verse 1, show us the important principle to understand Revelation. We need learn how to study with much prayer and to be in our spirit in order to be uplifted into heaven, then we can see “the things that must take place after these things” (v1b).
Prayer：Lord, save me from trying to understand Revelation by my brain. Teach me how to pray in my spirit, and to be uplifted to see Your authority in the third heaven.
