Seven seals

(12/12) |

Verses:Revelation 6
Key Verse:2. And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he who sits on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
Topic:Seven seals
Emphasis:From the first seal to the fourth seal is a picture of human history from Jesus Christ’s resurrection until today. We see the spreading of the gospel (white horse), war (red horse), famine (black horse) and death (gray horse). These four horses will run together until the fifth seal: “… those who had been slain because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had. … the number of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were about to be killed, even as they were, is completed.” (v9, 11) The sixth seal is the beginning of the Great Tribulation (the last three and half years).
Meditate:The victorious gospel, which is represented by the white horse, has spread gospel for almost two thousand years, from Jerusalem to all the nations. Isn’t the sixth seal about to be opened?
Prayer:Praise the Lord, because of your victorious gospel, that even I , a poor gentile sinner, can hear the words of God and believe, and now become one of those who have the testimony.
Hymn:124 Praise Him! praise Him! Christ is Victor
